happy thanksgiving 2010!

i am blogging today from the home that i've spent thanksgiving day at all of my 33 years.  i would guess that not very many people can say that.  we're at my parents' house, which once was my grandparents' house, and this is one of the many things for which i am thankful today.

i really appreciate thanksgiving because it's a holiday that everyone typically celebrates, and it provides a day to reflect on all of the blessings the Lord has given us.  today i am especially grateful for family, friends, health and traditions, none of which money can buy.

the boys celebrated thanksgiving at school last week and had a great time crafting, eating, making butter, and playing games.
Psalm 100:1-5
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.  Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.  Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.  Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.  For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
