i don't know about you but even my best attempts at not being busy this advent season are being challenged.  it has been busy from some good and fun things but still busy!

i had the privilege of escorting noodle on a field trip this past friday.  his class has been studying community helpers so we visited an animal hospital and a fire station to see what real life community helpers do.  it was fun and i even learned some things in the process!

here we are listening to the veterinarian talk about what she does with kitties in the exam room.
getting to pet the kitty
looking at a digital x-ray of a pregnant dog
taking our pulse/ox in the operating room
listening to the fire fighter tell about what he does on a daily basis at the firehouse
going out to see the firetruck
inside the firetruck
group shot!
i will say that i was completely exhausted by the end of the trip.  i don't know how teachers do it!
