wow. it's been a busy day. sorry for not posting the advent reading sooner (that's for you kristi!) but i have not been home long enough to turn on the computer!
noodle had his last dinosaur class today and they celebrated with a dino party! they went on a dinosaur egg hunt, and then ate some snacks. he has really enjoyed this class and has grown up so much...he just walks right in and hugs his teacher and plays with all the kids.
our school had a ground-breaking ceremony this afternoon for the new grammar school building set to be complete by next school year. it was so interesting to hear the history and legacy of the school and God's faithfulness to sustain and bless it.
then we went to a friend's house for a playdate that involved stamping of the foreheads, trampoline bouncing in the 40 degree weather and balloon swords. it was SO fun! i love community!
thankfully john suggested going out for dinner after a long hard day (and week!). tomorrow is just as crazy but i will try and post the advent reading a little earlier than tonight's.
i wore this fab grey turtleneck sweater today. noodle took one look at it this morning and declared that he did not like it. when i asked him why, he said, "i don't like that waistband around your neck." hysterical that child is!
and stay tuned...if you've been wanting to take some family pictures...you know, the laid back, no one gets stressed and the pictures are so good you have trouble deciding which ones to order kind of family pictures...have i got the photographer for you!
wouldn't that be a nice christmas present to yourself??? ;)
have a great weekend!
