noodle and i were busy delivering goodies to sweet friends today. it truly did feel good to give rather than receive. i'm not sure if i had him convinced though!
we surprised john up at work today after burrito got out of school. john's students have finals this week and leave at lunchtime but he has stayed at school grading papers. it was fun to surprise him, and we let the boys play in the gym for awhile. it was sweet to me to sit back and watch them mix in with other, older kids and then also to stick together. it made me think of that verse, "a man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." (prov 18:24) i love having boys so close together!
